Not sure this is available any more, but it does work for pre-loading individual clips.

Understand this vid is NOT about how to load a loaded clip into the M1. It's about a machine that operates to load eight rounds of 30-06 or .308 into a single M1 clip. Repeat as desired.

I’d buff the parkerizing off a clip or two.

You’ve got friction and the force of the op rod spring working against you. 2rd and 5rd clips will have less spring force, but require more dexterity to latch them in place.
