Hi All,

I was curious what other pistols are made with a slide that rides inside the frame. Off the top of my head I know about the following:

Sig p210
Cz 75
ITM at 84s
Bren-ten
Sphynx sdp

I'm curious if there are any others I couldn't really find a list online.

Thanks!

Add:

Pardini GT series
FK BRNO
Sphinx 2000 series
Sphinx 3000 series
Phoenix Redback
Savage 1907/1917
Tanfoglio pistols
various other CZ 75 derivatives and clones

I'm sure there are more.

Most are CZ 75 variants

Add

Baby Desert Eagle series.

Tristar T120

Armscore MAAP series

EAA Witness Series

I think several are rebrands made in the same plant.

CZ-75 variants made by Sarsilmaz in Turkey, which also made the Armalite AR-24.

CZ-75 variants made by BUL Armory in Israel.

Astra models 300, 400, 600, 800, and 4000.

Star models 28, 30, and 31; Firestar models M40, M43 and M243 (Firestar Plus), and; Ultrastar and Megastar models.

While not exactly a slide, a Luger's "cannon" (barrel and receiver) rides inside the frame rails.

All Canik/Tristar CZ clones:
P120, P100, T100, C100, S120, Shark

Those were the fastest burning guns ever. Here two years the talk of the tow, now not a mention.

CZ P-07 and CZ P-09.

Obviously developed from the CZ-75 but different enough to be considered separate designs.

Might as well illustrate the two most famous ones

Sig P49 made in 1949, 3200 produced for the Swiss army that year

CZ 75 made in 1975, 54 pre-production models made that year

And here is a Pardini GT9S. Not mine though, a member brought it to the range to show it, he’s looking to sell it

Hah! Neat pistol. Offhand, I don't recall ever having read about it before. I had heard the name Petter, of course, but I guess I had never heard about this gun he designed.
