Actually not too bad, my Navy Arms 1858 has only 1 cylinder & I ran 18 shots through it & it started it's slow down around shot # 16 where I used my left hand to help the cylinder turn for the next 2 shots but removal of the base pin was still pretty easy "not newly cleaned easy but not impossible with just my fingers."
I made it a habit to wipe the cylinder face & pin a little between cylinders on the Sherrifs model "as Cabelas calls it" since I was swaping cylinders during my session with it...
Interestingly the Navy Arms cylinder has narrower bolt stops milled in it where the new Pietta has a bit wider stops, there fore they will not interchange...
