How Did You Learn to Shoot?

The first Time I shot a handgun was in boot camp, My father had a thing against them.

I had a friend of my father to teach me how shoot handguns properly. I was a blank paper so I learned well.

I have to agree. My wife never shot handguns before and the person who taught her said the same thing.

Born and raised country boy shot a 22 rifle very young around eight or so. got a 16 gauge for rabbit hunts around age 14 . Shot on a range first time in the US Navy. After 6 yrs in Navy, Was LEO for 32 yrs qualifying ever 13 weeks on police shooting tactics. also was SWAT member trained on sniper Rifles. With all of that said I am still learning and practicing shooting. Hope to get it right someday.
