I loaded some 45 -70 cartridges when stationed in Kodiak, Alaska, in the US COAST GUARD, in 1983. Took them to the range, fired 5 of them, and all 5 holes were touching in the center of the target. Heck, I did not even know if they would fire after all this time. But the accuracy really surprised me. Boy, I must have done it right back then.
