I've used shooters choice..........got a green patch:(
I've used Hoppes #9.................got a green patch:(
I've used Hoppes benchrest copper something or other......got a green patch:(
I've used Break free Foam cleaner.............got a green patch:(
I've soaked Hoppes #9 overnight- and woke up to a green patch:(
All patches were pushed through with a steel tip.....still got green:(
I have atleast 4 hours into this barrel(not counting the overnight soak time)- and, while the green is getting better- its still there.

Steel tip? Is it a jag type (you impale the patch on what looks like a dart with a short tip) or one where you thread the patch through an eye (like a big blunt sewing needle)?

I've had much better results from Dewey Rods and the jag type tips personally.

Sounds like you've gone above and beyond on the cleaning with solutions. I'd get some JB or Rem-Clean or Isso Bore Cleaner and get a bit more aggressive. If you can't find those, Flitz works well too.

I THINK ITS FIXED!!
Thanks for all the suggestions- I recently got around to bringing the gun back out to the range- with a new nikon scope and approximately 6 hours of cleaning time into the barrel-
Shot several groups around the 1MOA size-
Thanks to all- now I just have to work up my hunting loads!!
