Help me find this Rifle!!!

This thread makes me think of this consignment rifle down at a local shop - it's a Wby Ultra Lightweight in .300 Wby mag, with Nikon Monarch 4-12x40, for $960 plus tax..not a terrible deal. Those are around $1700 new for rifle only. If I didn't despise that chambering....

A good brake can make all the difference. My .50BMG now sports a brake (from a manufacturer that is out of the business) that lessens the recoil to an extent that 11yr old girls have no problems. A good gunsmith can fit ANY brake to ANY barrel. It might not be pretty, but it will dang sure work.

Kleab, great article, thanks for posting. Definately food for thought.

DealHunter, thanks for the recommendation, will take a look at that rifle.

Rifed Guide Gun

I know the answer to this one! The Ruger Guide Gun! Laminated stock, all stainless, comes with a break and doesn't, but I might buy it in the .375 Ruger myself although it does come in .338 Winnie. Iron sights (finally a gun has them again)! And with a $1500 dollar budget you can add some nice glass if you want.
