Grandfather's Pistol: HI-Standard

Shot the gun today and the gun jammed nonstop with all 3 different ammo brands. I figure I will probably buy an aftermarket magazine and just tweak it for the gun.

My favorite 22 pistol that I've ever owned was a Hi-Standard Sport King acurate and almost never jammed. In fact , it would have to get super dirty before it jammed. Wished I still had it .

Congrats on the sharp little classic. I own a Sportking w/3 barrels, and a Trophy-matic...both are fine shooting pistols...your's is in great shape and will provide years of fun plinking.

Std velocity ammo only

Wish I had known this years ago. I ruined a 50s era .22 rifle shooting hypervelocity ammo through it, when I was a kid.

I think the gun has always had feeding problems since it was originally bought. So maybe the original magazine was out of spec. I bought a new one and we'll see if i needs to be adjusted still.

Update:
I was able to get an extra magazine from cheaper than dirt. The mag did not help the feeding issues at first. However, I was able to bend the edges on the magazine a little and got the gun to feed about 90%. We'll see what tomorrow holds
