Interesting, I agree the 1911 is a better club then a glock but IMO only bad guys conk people on the head with pistols. Any self-respecting patriot knows its better to split some goblin head with the steel buttplate of a rifle. like the AR..... nevermind 
Heck just carry backup! If I broke my glock on somebody's titanium plated skull, i would then just use my other glock. If I thought I was going into pistol whippin party I would just endeavor to shootbetter to begin with. That ways there wont be any need for pistol wipe-in.
