60% black, 30% white, 8% latino. That's the current census on Washington D.C.
I'd like to see how that plays income wise, and voting wise.
The current D.C. Fenty and the group may just be pandering to the majority that voted for them. Wouldn't be the first time.
One WOULD think the people would be smart enough to figure
that the no guns thing hasn't worked real well, but, these are the same folks that continued to elect Marion Barry, who is rivaled by only Clinton at skating out of entrapment, and legal charges...
On the otherhand, 60% of DC is black, and, perhaps they voted as a block for Marion Barry, and Fenty, because they are black. It wouldn't be the first time a politician with such solid support did what he wanted, not what his voters wanted...
