Westinghouse--meaning it was originally made in the U.S.? (I think American companies made some/a lot)
If so, that would be a pretty wild ride that rifle took throughout it's life!

Now it's only matter of time when we'll hear about new World Record!
Years ago I had an opportunity to shoot a lot with Anchutz 54. The rifle wasn't mine but was a kind of "long term loan".
It had the best triggerpull I have ever seen and with proper ammo groups were amazingly small and equal whether I used original sights or scope.

WOW! all that rear sight, for a measlily 22 LR. Never had the pleasure of shooting an Anshuts. I got a Rossi Pump with a Hex winchester barrel on it that will shoot about 1/4 inch groups at 10 yards with el Crappo ammo from Wal mart. good enough for me, Looks like i need to get me one of those.
