That is one of the stores if frequent. They have about 6 or 7 210s in a display case. Price ranges from 1400 to unlisted...
nice to look at though.

For the range a SIG P210 or Browning GP Comp. Two guns that I do not have, but think would be in the running would be a SIG P226 Sport or S&W 952.

For IDPA the idea is to win so the most competitive is a Glock 34. I have used a SIG P225, but a P226 would be a good choice as well and in the single action class a Browning HP or a CZ85 cocked and locked.

I shoot the tightest groups with my SigSauer P239, which was never designed as a target pistol (it's a compact slimline for concealed carry). The Sig P228, which is my most recent addition to the collection, is probably my second-most accurate pistol. I still love my Glock 19, but I find that my groups are slightly larger.

I've competed in 3-Gun and IDPA with the 19, and I've done fairly well with it. I'm hoping to sneak out of work one Saturday and bring the P228 out and see how I do. I would go with a Glock or a Sig before I'd bring a Beretta out to a match, since I know that I would forget to wipe the safety off before my first shot.

At our IDPA matches, you'll see equal numbers of Glocks, Berettas, and Kimbers on the firing line. There's a scattering of SigSauers and HK USPs, and a couple of K and L-framed Smiths.

Choose the pistol that fits you the best. Accuracy will follow.

There is a best range gun imho: the Beretta 92FS. These things are the most accurate, easy to shoot pistol I have ever owned. The thing that amazed me was the fact that I was in the bovine ocular area even in double action mode. The stock trigger on mine was perfect.

My 9mm is a CZ 75B due to the fact of the steel frame and the plethora of inexpensive factory hi caps floating around and since they will digest all the eastern block ammo and ask for more bit just for shear shooting, the 92FS is incredible.

SIG P210 series. Period.

Followed closely by the P226.

Third place (tie) toes to the Springfield Loaded Full-Size 9mm and the STI Trojan 9mm

How about a nickled WWII Luger?

Yep its one of those all matching number 1941 issue perfect. CEPT FOR THE FULL NICKLE PLATING WHICH RUINS ALL COLLECTOR VALUE WHATSOEVER(Rant off) Its a great shooter through so I guess I'll keep it. Looking at a Dan Wesson 9mm Pointman for my future purchace. What with the cheap 9mm at wal-mart I need a couple more 9mm plinkers. Maybe a S&W 547 or Ruger security six 9mm as well. Its a thought.
