Any old Colt. Look around, they are out there.
Half the fun is finding one in a shop. I picked up a series 70 gold cup for $650. It has some wear and a few scratches, but shoots like a dream. Had to replace the plunger tube and buy some Wilson Mags for it. Small price to pay for a great gun.
Glocks, yeah they are OK. I own a G30. But shooting one is like Kissing your Sister.
Sigs are nice too, but will not give you the same feeling a good 1911 will.
