I don't mind building one with an stripped lower. Just wondering what the "legalese" would be if I decided to sell it down the road. It's going to be hard to beat a usable AR for $575.00 through the links bedlamite posted.

What about this Kit from M&A?

Would it be worth eh 10 extra from the mid length kit to get the heavy barrel?

I'm an idiot, I didn't realize the mid-length kit came with the heavy contour barrel as well. Are the M&A barrels chrome-lined? Or is that something I shouldn't worry about?
