I do for my revolvers now, but I am not exclusive. My 1911 is parkerised, which holds up nicely. I have a few guns that are blued or hi tech black finishes. I have no stainless longarms but have had in the past. One finish I do avoid in purchases now, is nickel.

I'm the opposite....out of 26 handguns, the only one I have that's stainless is the Seecamp (and I'm thinking about bead blasting it for a matte look). :)

All of my revolvers are stainless. All of my semi autos are not. I love stainless on revolvers and don't much care for it on autos. Not sure why, but that's how it works for me.

I haven't bought any new guns that wasn't stainless in several years. I use all my guns and stainless is a lot easier for me to care for. I have stainless in everything but a shotgun, and I would like to have one of those.

I should say that I do have an S&W 4506. That's stainless.

Blued versions are virtually unobtainable, so I'll live with it.
