Sad news. He was always helpful and respectful on the forum. He gave me some very valuable advice in the past.
I didn't really know Brent other than a few post exchanges here and there. He was the no nonsense straight shooter that anyone would be proud to know. So sorry to hear of his passing. My mother said to me shortly before her passing, "This is a journey we all must take." Rest in peace, Brent.

Same here. Dave actually taught me to shoot trap back in January of 2004. That was my first time meeting him. I knew him through THR. Fast forward a couple years and I was at PG Trap & Skeet when I heard a familiar "Yaaah" calling for a target. It was Dave. After his round I approached him and asked if he remembered teaching me to shoot trap and he did, even told me what type of shotgun I had when he taught me. We caught up for a bit then he went back to shooting. Never thought that would be my second and last time talking to him. Rest easy Dave and Brent.I've been away for many years due to work...I didn't even know that Dave McC had passed...peace be unto both Brent and Dave
