acceptable accuracy, what size groups?

I'm overwhelmed with the accuracy you guys get with your guns. I'm 65, I never shoot rested, I shoot only double action off hand. My ageing eyes, my hand tremors, and my style of shooting all work against great accuracy. At this stage of my shooting career, I'm happy with palm of hand accuracy at 10 yards. Beyond that is problematic for me because I can't see the target.

I only shoot my handguns off hand and don't really get the point of shooting from a rest other than testing the capabilities of your gun(not you) or testing handloads.

IMO if you are keeping your CCW inside 6" @ 25yds you are doing pretty good.

Thanks for the info guys, I am going to built some new loads to try when I get some time.

There's been a renewed interest in 44spl over the past few years, as a versatile cartridge w/ very good accuracy potential. If you check online, you'll find plenty of suggestions for loads to try out.
