My last one which was several months ago, took 4 months and 8 days. I was surprised because it was a trust with RP's in different states. The form is not set up for that, and I ended up writing in things like the name and address of the other Chief LEO, but apparently they liked it.

I'm all NFA registered on the Silencer Shop website. I have a Kiosk equipped dealer about 40 min from my house , and The last can I need is a .22 rimfire . I'm pulling the quiet trigger on the Dead Air Mask .22 HD . My last form 4 wait back in 2016 was 5.5 months.

Received a stamp today on a Form 4 I signed on August 25th.

Four months ain't too shabby.

Hoping for the same ! I did my first "e-file" kiosk method from the Silencer Shop. I bought the Dead Air Mask 22 HD rimfire. Looks like my form 4 is complete and has been submitted as of 12/28 / 2020

No, you didn't.
All the kiosk does is scan fingerprints and let the buyer fill in information for the PAPER Form 4 that SS will submit with your photo and a printed fingerprint card. The kiosk doesn't submit anything to ATF.

eForms is the online system at ATF that allows you to file NFA Form 1's, 2's, 3's, etc EXCEPT for Form 4's. It IS an electronic submission and you don't submit a paper form.

At one time Silencer Shop would file F1's for customers, but ATF did a 180 and now does not let that happen.

Most popular silencer I sell.

Ahh ok so its a "faster" method to submit your traditional paper f4. The kiosk while faster was a REAL pia to use. I had a very tough time trying to "roll" my pinky fingers. Had to do multiple scan tries to get a "good" read.

Ignore the "grade" your scan gives. I've had beautifully detailed prints show "poor" and horrible smeared prints grade "very good".

If you see the loops/whorls/arches and don't have gaps or smudges you have an acceptable fingerprint. It's a waste of time and completely unnecessary to try and score "good" on every one.

Often a tiny, tiny bit of hand lotion rubbed on your fingertips makes it easier to scan.

After like 3 attempts on my pinky roll scans my sales guy commented that "poor" read is ok. Plus i dont know if it makes a difference or not but i have two prior ink printed F4 fingerprint submissions already on file.

It doesn't.
ATF just files the fingerprint cards, doesn't even send them to the FBI.

Dropped form 4 in the mail 4-13 for a Bowers Dreadnaught.

Charged my card 4-23.

Last can I got, was about 5 months. Hoping for the same, or better, with this one.

I've received a dozen eForm 4 approvals in the last week.
All certified and submitted January 19-25, 2022.

The ATF 90 day target for approvals seems to be working.
