32 caliber bullets

Sure, that's why it's good to compare costs against factory ammo. The brass in a box of 327 is worth $13.50 when compared with new brass so the second load cost for 50 rounds comes down to about $11.50. The components to reload 9mm are at least as much as those for the 327. That's when you have to ask yourself if your time to load a box of 9mm ammo is worth $3.50:eek: When I used to buy components back 20 years ago you could find 1000 jacketed bullets for around $60 or less and 1000 primers for $15. Cost of my loaded ammo was often under $5 for 50 rounds. I think even $3ish sometimes. Now with primers at $80 to $120 per 1000, Jacketed bullets at $20/100 or more and powder often pushing $40 a pound, it's hard to load any caliber at current prices for less than $10 per box unless you also cast and size your own bullets from range scrap since wheel weights are no longer made out of lead.
Midway has a sale on the XTPs right now if anyone is interested compared with $27 for 100 Sierra JHC bullets.
