I love .22 pistols. Here's a bunch I took for a little competition a while back. My favorite is the Daewoo DP52. The newest, the Ruger SR22 was a blast... lot's of fun.

My most exotic is the TPH. So sexy.

I have one revolver, a S&W K22.

Can't beat a Buckmark.

3 1/2" PacLite upper on a Volquartsen 1911 style Target frame. I like everything about this gun as it works very well for me.

I have a few- but my two favorite, so far, are not one's I think of as 'plinkers', as I would be very sad if I dropped them.

#1: Ruger MK II Government, from 2000-

#2: High Standard Supermatic 102 Trophy from 1958 [just acquired-haven't shot]-

My 'plinkers' would probably be my grandma's High Standard Sentinel Deluxe R-106 [no pics, yet], or my Single-Six. If I dropped them in the dirt/gravel, I wouldn't be happy but I wouldn't be upset. I'd be VERY irritated if the above HighStandard Trophy was dropped.

Here's my fav, and most used plinker; Colt Woodsman, 1939 vintage.

Next, my first cartridge handgun, acquired back when us 16 year olds could have stuff like this. Ruger single six I think from the sixties. Three screw, fixed sight, convertable 22LR/22Mag. I couldn't venture to guess how many rounds I've put through this old friend.

Last and -- least, the Jennings Shooting System. Always a challenge to shoot and keep running. I'll stick it in my pocket when squirrel shooting, and pull it out for the super close ones. It surprisingly shoots where you aim it, and I've killed several with it, sometimes blessedly with witnesses.

When I consider how much pleasure these handguns have brought to my life, and how little they cost (Ruger $65 in 1970, Woodsman $100 in 1992, and Jennings $60 in about 2005), it seems crazy how much I've spent on other guns. jd

This thing is a blast and my favorite plinker. Its a Tactical Innovations Cohort. I had to put a KIDD trigger in it, but everything else is top notch. I need a pic with my GSG 110 round drum.

My plinker of choice is my Ruger MK III Hunter .22lr. It is more accurate than I am, very reliable, and a dream to shoot.

My two favorites are an old Star Model F and a High Standard Sentinel. Both groups fired at 15 yards after considerable filing & drifting of sights to get them zeroed.

My father has the 6" barreled Sentinel and it is probably another one of my favorites. He let me borrow it any time before I purchased my Ruger. We never got to go shooting together and he isn't in the greatest of health now, so I still enjoy shooting it from time to time.

No surprises here. You knew you were going to see plenty of both as soon as you read the thread title.

My Browning Buck Mark is the handgun I shoot the best.

I rescued this old Single Six. It needed a couple of parts and some cold blue. If I do my job right it will shoot as well as the Buck Mark.
