1911 or Glock?

Having used both, I have to side with the 1911.
While easier to fieldstrip, to some minds, and more reliable out of the box, the Glock is too ugly and feels unnatural. Accuracy was nice considering that I shout 50/50 for my CCW qualifier with a .40 Glock.
All that considered, the 1911 still wins. There's just something about it that trumps the glock, hands-down.

Been known to carry both at the same time.
I carry one of my 3 1911's to the range to I can hob knob with the big boys. I carry my Glock just in case I should ever get in a life or death situation and need to defend myself in a hurry.
