1911 for under $500, recommendations?

Non Colt 1911 .45

What about the FireStorm 1911 .45 mil.

From what I have been able to find, the FireStorm is a good import.

Comments on here have indicated EAA 1911 .45 is questionable.

Be civil about what, exactly? "Firestorm" is a marketing name for a line made up of Llama quasi-1911s and Bersa products.

What the hell are you talking about, and what kind of gun is that in the blurry photo?

Handy, you're right.. Read too much in your one line...The fact that one would respond to a post inquiring about a FireStorm & informing others it's part of the Llama line normally would be a prelude to the usual put-downs that Llama's generate. Obviously, I was wrong in this case.... & super-sensitive.
The blurry pistol is a Llama IXA, circa 1977 with a lot of nice features found in some customized jobs...Could be the rare exception.....
