1903 Colt .32 acp magazine question

I understand that four models of this pistol were made. Are the magazines interchangeable for all four models? I read somewhere that the first and second models have their own magazine. Is this true?

    Interarms Colt 1903 magazine

I bought one of these recently. If I remember correctly it was about $55 with no return permitted. Well it turned out to be an expensive piece of junk. I took it to the range today and loaded it with 5 rounds of commercial .32 ACP. Upon firing the first shot the magazine dropped right out of...

    Tiny scratches in the blueing

What is the best and easiest way to touch up really tiny scratches? The scratch is on the head of a screw on an adjustable rear sight on a pistol. I know it sounds trivial, but it is noticeable and it bothers me. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

    Beretta Model 100

These pistols in .32 ACP are rare as very few were imported into this country. That is why you do not often see them up for sale. Anyway, I just got one. It has the 6" barrel and adjustable sights. The one I bought looks brand new. The blueing is perfect and there is not a single mark of...

    A stupid question?

I was on the Hogdon site and looking for the following load for Titegroup. 9mm using 125 grain lead round nose bullets. The only load I found was for 125 grain lead CN bullets. This doesn't really make a difference or does it?

    Feg ap-mbp, .32 acp

I bought one of these pistols on line and just got it today. So far I am very happy with my purchase. The gun is in 99% condition and everything about it seems okay as far as I can tell. The double action trigger is heavy and is about 10 lbs or thereabouts. However, the single action...

    Beretta 950 Jetfire question

This is my carry pistol. I bought it used on Gunbroker and it was in excellent condition. I practice with it regularly and shoot about 1000 rounds through it every year. Some guy told me that it was not build to be fired that much. Is this true? How much firing can this little gun take?

    Firing my new FN 1900

Some weeks ago I bought this pistol on Gunbroker. When it arrived it looked almost brand new and I couldn't wait to shoot it. Yesterday at long last I was able to take it out to the range. The ammo I used was .32 auto PPU, Federal, Fiocchi, and my hand loads. All were satisfactory except...

    FN 1900 Pistol

I love old single stack .32's. They are a lot of fun to shoot. I just got this one from Gunbroker. When I took it apart and cleaned it all up it turned out to be 99%! The blueing is excellent, the barrel is pristine and it is mechanically perfect. I went over it carefully with a...

Loading 78 grain lead bullets for .32 ACP

Does anyone have any load data for this? My local gun shop has these. The Lee manual lists a load for 77 grain lead bullets but the powder is one that I never heard of. I have not been able to find my usual 71 grain FMJ bullets for anything like a reasonable price. I did an online search and...

    Double action revolver shooting

Here is my question on this. In shooting a revolver double action, do you keep your elbows slightly bent or have your arms straight out with your elbows locked. Which would be the best position for shooting at silhouette targets 7 to 10 yards away?
