Here's the deal with FAL's - they are fairly heavy and long. Tavor makes a 308 bullpup which is much lighter and far more compact. There are even better 308 bullpups out there like the one made by K&M. When it comes to .308 - a bullpup is the way to go.

There are now a number of good 5.56 and even .308 Bullpups out there. OAL puts them in range of many of the pistols with arm-braces. However, they do tend to be quite a bit more expensive than what you can put together yourself in an AR platform. I would like to see more bullpups come online...

Does anyone make a the adjustable trigger components found in the Sig X-Five? I have the Competition model and wold like to swap for the Level 1 adjustable trigger, if the can be purchased. I know that I can buy a L1 and sell the Competition but I'm trying to avoid doing that.

About a year ago, I went ahead and bought a K&M .308 bullpup which I have been quite pleased with. At the time, Tavor did not have a 308 version of its bullpup. I am wondering if anyone has seen the Tavor 7 or had any trigger time with it? Price is about the same as the K&M. Just curious.
