Finished reading the new SWAT the other day. The article on San Fransisco's Tac Unit was rather good but the pictures were showing another story. Were the photos staged demonstrations for the magazine or were they taken during actual training? I realize that there may be a time difference...

I belong to the indoor range in St Louis, The Bullseye, and they recently acquired their class III license. They have acquired as rental guns an HK MP5 Navy, Steyr MP 69, an AK74 variant and a Browning 1919A4 in 7.62!! Fired off a belt from the Browning. Too cool :D

Does anyone use anything other than a Sharps (original or repro) or a Rolling Block (original or repro) for the long range stages? Those are mainly what I see in this area though I have seen some big bore Winchesters and Marlin leverguns singly loaded. Curiously I haven't seen any High Walls yet.

How can you tell if a Mac 10 is semi or full. Does the semi have a selector lever on the left side? Do the open bolt semis have a fixed firing pin? Any others? Have a chance to buy a Mac 10/45 and/or a Mac 11/9. Both Cobray. Haven't seen them yet. Hopefully I'll be able to view this weeekend...
