Anybody have any informed opinions about these firms' guns, and how they compare to a custom, or LEs Baer, Wilson, etc. I never see them mentioned here, but their catalogs are impressive.

Can the rimmed .45 cartrifges be shot from the .45lc? I know the .45 acp cannot, but why not the rimmed ones?

If at all? Are there any real differences in design, or are STI & SVI similar to Brown, Wilson, etc.

I just bought a small but well made ultrasonic celaner. I'm tryign to find some good gun cleaning solution and lubricating solution in smaller quantities. Anybody have any recommendations?

I live in California, and bought a gun from out of state. My FFL transfer dealer tells me he still has to charge me sales tax on the gun. I recall reading somewhere that this is not the case. Does anyone know about this?

I've been seeing a lot of their revolvers lately, and considering getting one. How does the quality and trigger action compare to the S&W or Ruger?

At the range today, I wanted to rent a 10, and they have stopped carrying them. They claim only Glock is still making them, and they have goone out of vogue. Everybody is switching to the 40. I thought the 10 had staying power. Are only Glock still making guns for it? Canuck1911
