I was looking at my wife's LCP and was wondering if Ruger paid a royalty to Kel-Tec for copying the design of the P3AT. I recall Glock went after S&W for the Sigma series of handguns.

Just throwing it out, I have a Ruger LC-9 and LCP, not fond of shooting either one. I was thinking another .380 maybe a Kahr or Bersa Thunder (Walther PPK I wish). Anybody have a preference for a carry .380 less than $350?
Thanks in advance,
Pico
Just wondering if anyone is going to trade in their LC9 for an LC9s? I have never minded the long trigger on the LC9 but I've been thinking lately....
Maybe the gun I carry every day and have around over 90% of the time should have a better trigger.

I like to browse Academy Sports online but it seems they have removed all of their firearms from their web site. I mainly use this to get an idea of prices. They still have firearms listed in their weekly sales paper. Anybody have information on this?

I go through this AK thing every now and then and this time it has manifested with a desire to own the Draco version. Anyone own one or are have any opinions on it? I know with the short barrel it has a foot-long plume of flame when you shoot it. I figured the sight radius on the regular AK is...
I saw and held the new little Glock at the gun show yesterday and was amazed at how small it was.
I was also amazed at the $600 price. I am not a Glock person but it did not look as sturdy as the typical Glock to me and I did not see what I should see for it to be a $600 gun. This may change...
Reading the new Bob Swagger book The Third Bullet (great book btw) and the author mentions a Russian pistol called Gsh-18. I checked and this is a wild looking piece. Anyone ever shot one or even held one?

In light of the XDS chambered in .45 and 9mm with bascially the same size frame, does anyone think Ruger will go there also and produce an LC-45? I think it is do-able but they may have to widen the slide just a bit. Opnions?

I got one of these at Academy and was pleasantly surprised at how well it shot. Nothing fancy, just a plain finish, nice hefty weight and very robust barrel and cylinder. It appears they took .45 parts and bored them for the smaller ammo with thicker walls as a result on these components...
CZ pistols
Don't want to get off topic with CZ's but if you handle and shoot any CZ pistol you will want one. They shoot really good and are accurate. They used to be a steal but they are priced way up now.
They can be very non-plain:

A friend is looking for a combo .22 magnum / LR revolver for his wife. Since I am a semiauto person, I am not aware of what is out there.
Does anyone have a good suggestion?
Thanks in advance.

Just saw these two pistols at a gun show. Aside from rear sights, I didn't see much of a difference. Oh yeah, the 24/7 was $20 more. Is there much difference in them and are either one decent firearms? I want a small .45 that is not too expensive. Either of these worth considering?
Thanks,
Pico
Is it possible to put a Commander sized slide on a regular .45 Government model frame? I would like the option of using the shorter slide for CCW and having the long slide for target shooting.
Pardon if this is a stupid question.

Anybody know a good price to offer for a Norinco 1911 .45 ACP? My friend has one to sell. Needs new mags and the grip safety is so so. I would swap these out immediately. Overall it is in good shape, just needs some break in. Shoots pretty well.
He is a friend and I don't want to screw him over...
