So, I am currently in the market for a .45 pistol, and would like to be able to conceal my handgun. I like shooting 1911's but have no experience with trying to conceal them, (especially the 5" barrel ones). Can anyone help me with comments on full size 1911 concealment?

I've always wondered how to pronounce the word: Carbine. I've heard it pronounced two ways, carbIne (long I sound) and carbean (like black bean). Which is the correct way to pronounce this word? and has anyone else ever been confused by this?

So from what I've read, the Browning Hi-Power was Browning's last design before he died and had several improvements over his original 1911, so here is the question, I've seen 1911's chambered for just about everything. How come no one ever chambered the Hi-Power for .45?

I'm looking at buying a .45 cal pistol, and would like to know peoples opinions on various guns. A couple things I'm looking at: I'd like something with a good magazine capacity, the more the better. Something that isn't too bulky, preferably something not hideous. Any possible suggestions?
