Yeah, I was trying some of this Aguila 60 grain .22LR stuff in my 10/22T and Man, was the action black when I got done! Why is that? My Federal Gold Medal don't do that, even if I was to shoot twice as much...........Anyone have similar experience with the Aguila stuff?

ON my M70 Ranger .30-' 06, according to Brownell/ Williams sight chart, the original Total front sight height is .477"......What height Fire Sight bead do I buy, as well as base width ? I am thinking the 250 M is right, but I am not a gunsmith....Thanks in advance.

I have a large enough "backyard" that I want to build a 100 yard Rifle Range.....I already have a pretty good idea of just how I want my Range Shack...(I plan to have it off the Back Door of the Shop)...But my Question is How should One build a Proper Backstop?? I would Appreciate answers only...

I like the idea of Red-Dots....Especially herein the Ozark Mts. of AR.....I wanted to mount one on my M70....Trouble is the fusalage on the Red-Dots Are fairly Short....Less than five inches...and closer to Four....Well, the Weaver 46 & 47 bases on my long action M70 are too far...

For a finish, is Tru-oil any good and with additional coats and rubbing compound, can you get it to Shine?? Also.........why wouldn't a Min-wax Gel Stain with several coats of the Min-Wax outdoor Spar finish work, rubbed with Brownell's 5F Stock Compound and cheeseclothed clean, between coats???

Are the Scope-mounting kits with the new bolt handle difficult to install? Also why can't the original handle be forged between two blocks like Mausers are???
