..Standard or Challenger(Huntsman)..which is the better shooter???

Took her to the range today..shot about 100 vintage Western & Remington mid-range, standard, and hi-velocity metal-piercing rounds...performed like a new gun of course..now I need to get a chronograph...& an appropiate holster..

...I was offered a very nice Colt New Service in 38-40(38 Win)..I admit I have not given this old cartridge much consideration..but looking at it's ballistics it seems a very nice round with good power(970 fps+380 ft lbs..180 gr)..any one have experience with this cartridge???

I have owned and shot the Colt D.S. 38 before...how does it's alloy twin do over time with standard 38 loads?...I did not mind the recoil of the D.S. and know the Cobra will flip somewhat harder...I like to practice with all my guns...

this Smith & Wesson is sure a fine shooting gun!..

..I just bought a Colt Cobra revolver...I generally use a quality bore cleaner to clean the outside as well as the inside of a gun..is it OK to use such on an aluminum alloy frame gun?....
