It is a 7mm rem mag. The only mark anywhere on the rifle is '7MM' on the barrel. The safety is on the left side, and moves about 90* from up (safe) to down. The bolt resembles a winchester pre '64. The bolt handle is flat underneath, and the bolt release is large, you pull the foreward end away...

Why are telescoping stocks, such as those supposed to be on an M4 illegal? I understand that retractable/folding stocks can make a gun very concealable, but changing LOP by 5 inches won't do much. Please explain this. Thanks

I have been trying to get CCI CB's to cycle in my Marlin Papoose by lightening the bolt. I was told that I could drill it out to make it lighter, but I was worried that I would hit something vital inside it. No one seems to know of a lighter bolt being made, so I think this is my only option...
