    38 snub or 357 snub

I will probably be purchasing a Taurus model 85 38 special in the near future. I already own a 357 with a 2 1/4 inch barrel. I'm considering getting rid of the 357, but am concerned about the loss in power between the 38 and 357. I would like to hear from anyone with opinions on the ballistic...

    Holster for PT 111

I've been looking for a leather IWB holster for my PT 111. So far none of the local shops have anything made specifically for the PT 111. Does anyone know of a IWB holster made for this pistol. Thank for any info?

    Taurus Ultralight

I've been considering a Taurus Model 85 Ultralight for some time. I found one for $275. I'm a little concerned about the reliability of the gun. I've noticed a lot of posts stating that this revolver may not be very durable. I would appreciate any feedback concerning this guns durability...

    135gr Hydra-shok in 9mm, any good?

The local Wal-Mart has 135gr hydra-shoks in 9mm. I've not seen this load before. Can anyone provide any info on the performance of this cartridge? Is it better or worse than the 124gr hydra-shok. Thanks for any info.

    40 S&W subcompacts

How much velocity is lost with the 40 S&W when fired from the short subcompacts now on the market? Is there a significant loss in performance or is it only minimal? Is it similar to the 357mag when fired from a snub?

What is the best standard pressure 9mm load?

I'm having a hard time deciding which load to carry. So far I'm leaning toward Federal's 115 gr hollowpoint(9BP)or Federal 124 gr Hydra-Shok. I've also tried Winchester's Silvertip and liked it. Any opinions on which is best would be appreciated.

    Is it legal?

Is it legal to carry more than one handgun if you have a CCW Permit? Does this vary from state to state? Thanks for any info.

    PT 111 or Kel-Tec P11

I appreciate all of the feedback on the PT 111. I've talked to Taurus and they are assuring me that this mishap was only a fluke. I guess time will tell. I can say that although I only shot the pistol 64 times it seemed very accurate and was feeding reliably. Prior to buying the PT 111 I was...

    Taurus PT 111

I just purchased a PT 111 a couple of days ago. I had the chance to try it out today. It was about 20 degrees at the range. The gun initially funtioned flawlessly. No misfires or jams, but on the 65th shot the trigger broke. I did not hear it or feel it break. The gun simply did not go...
