I rented a Glock 27 .40 at the range last night to see how it felt. I want to get a model 29 10mm but the range didn't have any for rent so I settled on the 27 since it was the closest in feel. I know the 10mm will recoil harder, though. I've never shot a Glock before and here's my problem...

Ok I know we've been over this before but I need a scope that can handle the recoil from a .300winmag. More eye relief the better. Good out to 300 yards. $500 price limit.

Have the urge. Any reason not to other than the price of ammo?

Was looking at the Ar-50. I want to own one before they're banned everywhere. How does a .50 BMG recoil? I've heard that with the big muzzle brake it kicks like a 12 ga. This sounds impossible to me. I know how my 300 win mag nails me pretty good and I don't think I could stand much more than that.

Turkey gun. Stoeger semi auto 3" chamber Benelli Nova pump 3.5" chamber. Prices are within $50 of each other. Doen't know much about Stoegers. The Benilli Pump slide rattled too much when it was in the closed position.

My Ruger 77 MarkII stainless .300win mag is a bit too long for me. Can I shave a 1/2 inch or so off of it and reinstall the butt plate without messing it up? Also What is involved in installing a muzzle brake? What does it do?

Preferably of wood construction wall mounted with a glass pane front. Large enough to display 5-6 handguns. I may have to build my own but would be great if I could buy one.
