Now that I've traded my 60 in, I'm curious to know how the anodized finish holds up. My old 36 showed bluing wear on the backstrap after a few years.....is anodized better?

I'm trying to get an exact difference in weight between my old model 60 and my new, but not here yet, 442. The catalog no longer lists the 60 but it has the 36 at 20 ounces. It lists the 442 at 15 ounces and I've seen it listed at 14.5 in other places. I'm thinking the uncle mike's boot grips...

I already wrote the check out to my dealer but they discontinued the gun and I don't have any more checks so the gun must come out exactly to this amount......

Those of you who responed to the 9mm thread mentioned you hard chromed your P7s or are about to. Please advise who you used and how good the job is...seems like it is between Tripp, Ford or Metalife/Metaloy......any pics would be nice too...thanks

as much as I like the grips many of you recommended, I found them a bit slippery, much like wood...but for a solution I took some light sandpaper to the right grip panel (left the left alone since it is against my skin) and gave it a bit of a roughout finish,,,now they are perfect.....no more...

A friend of mine bought a new 342pd in December. I never noticed until now but the grips are uncle mike boot grips, not hoague Bantams. did the gun ever come with anything but hogues? I thought not and maybe the dealer pulled a switch on him......

My model 60 turns 20 next year and I've been looking for a light load to qualify with so as not to beat on the gun. We currently use 130 grain full metal jackets for training and I'm concerned this round is hard on the gun....is the full metal jacket harder on snubbies? Does it wear the barrel...

Hey Sox, love my new grips.....i got the smooth fingergrooves...great price at 18.25 shipped and they feel just like the expensive wood grips without spending 60 bucks...thanks again for the advice (and from you others who also reccomended them)....now i don't have checkering marks on my stomach...

Just curious...I have a hi-power, circa 1982, made in Belgium. It is mint with novak 3 dots, matte top of slide, extened thumb saftety and 5 pound trigger all done at Cylinder&Slide. It has 4 13 round factory mags. what do you think the value is?

I have a model 60 and like the size of the standard grips with a tyler adapter. I carry mostly on my ankle in a renegade rig but i find the checkering a little annoying on my leg. Does anyone make a smooth replacment grip in inexpensive wood or black plastic? I don't want to spend 60 bucks...
