    Cynergy????

Looking at a new do all type O/U. I've shot a Browning Citori Lightening 12ga or 20ga Superlight for 25+ years on dove and upland birds and will continue to do so. However, I recently traded my SBE1 that I used for deer and waterfowl and am in the market for a new waterfowl/do all type...

    Ruger No.1 Rebarrel

I've been trying to sell a Ruger No.1 International in 30'06 for a while now but haven't gotten many offers. None that I can see taking, most wanting to trade a much less quality gun for it. I've decided that I might just have it rebarreled into a .257 Roberts and go that route instead. I...

    HB 7mm Mag.

Anyone know of a 7mm Mag factory offering with a heavier profile barrel than the Remington Sendero? I don't know why but I prefer the heavier barrel option in my rifles. Since I don't do a stalking and walking type hunting weight isn't too much of a factor. Am I overlooking something?

    Deer Season

Has arrived in the southern portion of the lowcountry. Seeing some pics coming up for some mossy horned bucks. Still got 15 days to wait in my area. Just not feeling it this year yet, might be all the standing water in the woods and mosquitos or the heat or the amount of fishing I'm doing.

    Colt Series 80

What is a Colt Series 80, .45ACP, Stainless and wood grips worth? Standard type grades. Good to average condition, gun has been shot but taken care of.

    Laser Options for XDM

Haven't done too much with handguns and especially autos in a while. Had an HK USP 45 for a while and sold it. Got bunches of wheelguns, 1911's and a few Berettas but this is the first one(s) with a rail on them. I bought an XD Compact for my wife and an XDM for myself, well they might switch...

    P708 Redux

I think I'm going to like this one. Remington 700 SPS Varmint with the barrel cut and recrowned at 20". Bell and Carlson Light Medalist with Capt Tom's Crayon treatment. Bottom metal is a Wyatt DBM drop in, required no inletting like the Badger System did. Timney Trigger set at 2lbs, Badger...

    FedEx Claus.....

Just dropped off my Weaver Tactical 3X15X50 EMDR FFP scope. First impressions are pretty dang good. Scope is heavy and appears to be well built. Clear as a bell with a fine reticle. Now, all I need is the rifle back from the gunsmith with the cut down barrel and a few more components and...

    Steiner Scopes

Anyone out there put their hands on one of these optics or know anything about them? I know their binos are top knotch but I believe they are relatively new on the scope lines.

    Barrel Length & Velocity???

I posted this in the reloading forum as well but upon advice I added it here since it is a cross boundary question. OK, last year I bought a 7mm08 SPS Varmint with a 26" barrel. I changed out almost every part on the gun to make it what I wanted and shot it. Originally I had intended to have...

    Barrel Length

OK, last year I bought a 7mm08 SPS Varmint with a 26" barrel. I changed out almost every part on the gun to make it what I wanted and shot it. Originally I had intended to have the barrel taken down to 20" in order to make it more maneuverable in the deer stand. After I shot it, I decided not...

    Project 7mm08 Redux

Since the first installment of the build went so well, I have decided to do it again with some minor changes. I found another Remington 700 SPS Varmint version chambered in 7mm08 and bought it. This time around I am actually going to shorten the barrel of the gun instead of shooting it first...

    Sookie - Warning Graphic

This old girl stuck her head out last night, unfortunately for her, I had some people that needed some protein. She didn't suffer and no meat was ruined. 150grn Nosler CT BT from the 7mm08 at 125yds.

    Back The Truck Up

Sat last night in a stand that has only been a hog magnet all season. Fact of the matter is that is all that has been seen or killed on the stand. Its sort of why I went, either shoot a pig or a doe. Never thought that I have a nice buck come out in decent shooting light at that. We're...

    Quick Sit

So, my wife had to head to the church for a meeting yesterday evening and took the boys with her since there was childcare. That free'd me up to make an after work stress relief sit. Been a hectic couple of weeks and the stress is there. I ran home (work is a mile away), swapped vehicles...

    Deer Season Approaches

4 days and its Deer Season. Stands are ready. Rifles are ready. Feeders are in good shape. Food plots are green, lush and full of activity. Clothes will be washed in Scent Free and hung up to air this evening. And I'm so stoked its hard to sleep at night. Friday is going to be a long day.

    Ruger 44 Carbine

Looking to add a scope to a little 44 Carbine that I inherited for a brush gun later in the season. What bases and rings do I need to get. Probably going to throw a Weaver Classic V 1X3X20 scope on it or the Classic Extreme.

    Truglo No

I don't shoot my AR much, but do dabble with it some. I recently added a flat top upper to the gun and decided to put an optic on it. I looked and didn't want to spend a lot of money on a red dot since its not shot much so I ordered a Truglo 2X42 multi reticle. I should have known that for...

    SKS Information

I've got a Norinco SKS that my late FIL left me, two in fact. I don't know a whole lot about these guns other than they fire 7.62X39 ammo and are cheap but reasonably reliable. Where can I get the best information and parts to make this thing look and run to the best it can? Detachable...
