Why do all these flimsy casing catchers mount to the forend of the rifle? Why dont they make an AR15 casing catchers for A4 ownders that mounts on the picatinny rail up top, it would never droop down and would be FAR more stable and reliable....errrrr

On the ar15 platform, look in the [Edit*Inside! the magwell, in the front*] front of the magwell. Where the tips of the bullets would point when a magazine is inserted. There is a channel that does nearly all the way up the well. Whats its purpose? Thanks. -Dave
