I have an old 8mm Mauser that I need some info on.The only markings on it are PREDUZECE 44 and Mod 98 on the left side of the receiver.On top of the receiver is a star with two wings in a semicircle around a flame.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks Russ

I am about to start casting my own bullets but I am undecided on what bullet mould to get.A SWC,RNFP,TRUNCATED CONE,or a SILHOUETTE profile.I know each has its good and bad and Elmer Keith loved the SWC but what do you think?For a 44 and a 357 by the way.

I have a German Luger that has been given the chrome treatment and I am wondering if it would do anything to raise the value of the gun by reblueing it?All numbers on the gun match but not the clip and the chrome finish is chipping off of the end of the barrel.So what do you think?Thanks Russ
