I have a stainless steel brush for a 44 barrel that fits my 45 kinda. Its not overly loos but not real tight either would that be safe to use on a 45 XD?

Check out my new 45. I got a XD compact. It is used but I was able to shoot it before I bought it and I really like the way it shoots. I know they all look alike but I took a pic of mine from a different angle.
