Anyone have a suggestion as to who's SS mainspring housing for a 1911 won't rust. I have 2 that have shown rust from being used in IDPA from swet. I had to remove and bead blast and am now trying EEZOX to see if it helps. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I encountered this at the national Cemetery here in Florida. A sign is posted reading that firearms are prohibited form the cemetery and its grounds. For the folks that are more versed in the federal park carry laws wouldn't the national cemetery's be considered federal land?

I am currently using Titegroup powder. I am loading 40S&W with a 155gr. cast lead bullet and using 4.8 grains of powder. My question is, is this a recipe for disaster or is this a safe load. I cannot find any data with regards to this bullet wt. in lead.
