Just converted a VZ-24 Czech Mauser to .270 with a combo sock and barrel kit from Midway. I threw on a cheapie BSA scope and now to the range to get things in order. My question to folks here is which do you think is better for the deer season, .270 or .308?

I suppose a great many of you have seen the Kel-Tec frames that come in an assortment of colors. I especially find the pink one a bit on the edge. I'd be curious to know what you folks think of exotic colors for frames. Do any other manufacturers make multiple color frames? I am not aware of any.

I just replaced the firing pin on my nagant. Most of the hits on the primer are solid hits. Some hits are going through the primers. What might be the problem? What do you suggest?
