I got drawn for a Fort Knox military deer hunt and was thinking of getting a 12 GA slug gun. I mostly hunt rifle for deer, but Knox only allows Shotguns or Muzzleloaders. I wanted to see if anyone had recommendations on a slug gun? Kinda thinking a semi auto? I would put a scope on it also...

Went to Bud's gun shop in Paris, KY. Couldn't believe that they were selling new M & P's for $399 + tax. Seems like a killer deal, but I am leaning toward getting a PX4 storm instead. Still can't decide on my next 9mm.... :confused:

I was in Wal-mart yesterday to pick up some Winchester white box ammo and notice the 100 count box 9mm went from $11.88 to now $12.88. :( Also, .40 WWB went up to $16.98. I think the best price is $5.98 for Remington 9mm ammo is at Dicks sporting goods, but you have to buy a case.

Just finished two of the Rack Grade guns I picked up at the North Store in May of this year. Both are great shooters. Top one is the CMP stock kit ($118). Turned out real nice.

I was in a Walmart in Elizabethtown, KY and saw a Stainless Mini-14 in the Rack. With all the talk of Walmart getting out of the gun business, I was suprised to see a Mini 14. Maybe they will start to carry M 1 Garands or AK's next????? :rolleyes:

Anyone in KY that needs a good gunsmith, check out Danny's new store. He is now in with Bluegrass Range over off of Bishop / Leghorn Drive. He just fixed the trigger on my 10/22 and did a great job. HIGHLY Recommend..... :)
