I heard a rumor from a friend that the German made P99 are drying up, and the new ones will all have S&W mark. Is this true?

$230 vs $280. There's a cost difference of $50 between these two models. Which one should I get? Anyone compared the accuracies of both models? It looks more "normal" with 3.5", but the target 5" sure looks unique too. I'm torn. :rolleyes:

P99 looks good, and extra sweeter now with the price cut. But do I go with 9mm, or the .40S&W? I had a chance to grip 9mm and it felt excellent. Is there a dimension difference between the two? I dont' have a .40SW so maybe this is my chance.
