I am loading some Midsouth Shooters 55 gr varmint nightmare premium hp's and found that a few of them were deformed by the seating die. They have a slight ring mark around the ogive. Is this going to effect accuracy ? Is the jacket too thin or is this a problem with my seating die ?

what procedure do you guys use to level your scope ? I mounted my scope and then leveled my rifle, then put the level on the top elevation cap and leveled the scope but when I looked through the scope the crosshairs are slightly canted. Am I doing this right ?

If you have two loads that are equally accurate with the same bullet, one load being 24.0 grains of powder and the other being 25.3 grains of the same powder which would you load ? Would the hotter load be better for ranges out to 300 yds with less bullet drop ? Woulod the hotter load be more...
