Hi again everyone. so I started reloading last spring for my .308 bolt gun. It's been a good time. Looking to start loading for my Olympic arms AR chambered in 5.56, 16in heavy barrel. Do the case volumes fluctuate as much as .308 brass from head stamp to stamp? Anyone have a good recipe with...

    ultramax 223 ammo

Just picked up a box of ultramax .223 55 gr soft point. I was disappointed to see that a lot of case body's were banged up and dented. Is it safe to shoot these cartages with dents? has any one else tried the ultra max remanufactured (reloaded lc brass)? Better yet can I reload the reloaded...

    5.56 or 223 die?

Thinking about reloading for my ar. The barrel is stamped 5.56. I know I can run 223 through it, but I usually buy 5.56 because that is what it is stamped. I was looking for a 556 full length resizing die at the store and couldn't find one. Seems they have 223 in all the popular brands, some...

    308 oal-col

hi again. So far in my loads I have ben using bullets with a crimp groove. Not paying attention to the over all length of the cartage, just seating the bullet to the middle of the crimp. Now that I have learned more, I see that oal is pretty important to accuracy. Setting the bullet back from...

Hello again everyone. I am a new reloader, just started this summer and I'm on my 300th round. I am having a good time with it. Every thing I have loaded to this point has been my once fired brass. Most of my cases are at the end of their life span I think. Starting to see the shine 1/16" up...

    New hand loader

Hi every one. Recently I decided to start reloading for my .308 win. I have put together and fired 80 rounds now with great success. I cant believe the difference in consistency. Both rifles shoot WAY tighter groups with the hand loads vs cheep box ammo. So I plan to continue reloading. I am...
