I'm thinking of buying a M1 Garand. Pros- The most famous military rifle EVER made. Cons- Heavy (9lbs.?), 8 round clip, expensive ammo. I have a pair of SKSs , so I don't NEED the M1. I'm saving my $$$ for a new "something". Opinions please.
