    Norma MRP, Alliant PP4000

Going through Norma's, and Alliant's reloading data, i saw that MRP and PP4000 gives decent velocities in the 280 Rem. Run through Quickload also showed good predicted velocities in the 280 Rem. And better still the 284 Win also. Although Norma doesn't list MRP in the 284 Win in their data, and...

    PA Bear regulation changes..

The PA Game Commission has estimated that there are 20,000 black bears in the state. And are upset about the lower harvest last year, than the previous. (3,100 for 2018 vs 3,400 for 2017. numbers rounded) So PA is looking at extending the seasons, and making them come in earlier. (before bears...

Having been reading up on the "new" 6.5mm PRC, i'm leaning towards it. Seems to be in decent company with the 6.5-06 A Square, 6.5-284, and 6.5mm Rem Mag. Based on 375 Ruger case.

    Work Hardening brass

While researching some things a question popped into my mind about work hardening brass. Would it be possible to work harden brass by shot peening? If so is there a way to locallize the hardening, say to just the head/rim area? Or is it a matter of annealing the area you want soft again...
