Registering to vote, and even voting, is not enough. You need to give money to candidates and volunteer for their campaigns.

For those of you who can take a day off on November 7th, may I suggest spending the day at your local gun shop. Ask everyone who comes in if they voted, and if they voted pro-gun. If they haven't voted, lean on them.
By that day, I'm going to have some copies of Gore's gun control proposals printed as a "cattle prod" for the lazy.

October 10th is the deadline in Georgia for the presidential election. You can even register online. Two of my sons have done that and have already recieved their absentee ballots in the mail!
