You Just Can't Win . . .

I have been doing some research to figure out which gun to get as a carry weapon. One of the guns under consideration is the Taurus PT 24/7, so I downloaded the user's manual from the Taurus website. I almost choked on my Snapple when I read about the internal lock -- notice the two warnings in red.

I think lawyers must have more fun than anyone else.

That is why I don't read owners manuals. I do have a Taurus PT145 and the keys are in the box it came in.

LOL at Hardball's comment! Good one!

You're lucky I'm not the lawyer; I'd add a couple more warnings:

In case of internal lock malfunction, attach supplied bayonet to bayonet lug on pistol, and stab using an upward thrusting motion.

Caution: failure to properly disengage the internal bayonet lock before attempting to use bayonet in an emergency during a defensive situation may cause injury or death......:D

Man I hate these internal locks....

I get the message. Using a Taurus may result in injury or death

LMAO. Hey, they're just telling it like it is. It's a tradeoff. There ain't no free lunch. At least they don't gloss over the fact that if it's locked up, it could be detrimental to your state of being upright, unlike the gun banners.
