You-Assemble-Safes???

I have limited access space down to my gun room/office. Does anyone have experience or thoughts about one of the safes that are delivered in pieces and get assembled in place? I would rather have one larger safe than two smaller, but that might be my only option.

How about just getting a vault door for the office?

Zanotti makes a nice modular safe, but you'll have to wait awhile to get one.

If you can fit two smaller regular safes, you'll be better off from both a security and fire perspective.

Wally, I thought about the door idea, but there is no fire benefit, and the surrounding walls are just 2x4 and wallboard.

I would go with smaller safes or the vault and spend some money fire proofing.

There is a lot of discussion on how effective fireproofing is. I am not a believer.
