I went back to the range and went through 13 different rounds for the .308 as a follow up to prior testing.
Federal 168 / 178 / 185 is the clear standard and the Berger 200’s were even better sub MOA, except they have to be manually inserted as they’re too long for the magazine.
But the real question is on that cheap Wolf soft point 140 gr round. Terrible 5.6 MOA (and all to the right).
Is that stuff really that bad?
All the other rounds tested were at most 2.5 MOA, with federal and Berger way better.
